A Place of Hope

When I was 12, I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called ITP. My doctor referred me to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. When I got there, I saw all the other kids with cancer and other diseases. That's when I decided to fundraise for St. Jude.

My youth group at church and I raised $1,000! For my birthday this year, I'm going to donate all my birthday money to St. Jude. They have such a wonderful faculty. They are so nice to me and the other children, and they treat us just like family. I'm still dealing with my blood disorder, but when I go to St. Jude, I am happy. To me, St. Jude is a place of HOPE.
